Water gets into a crawl space in several ways: through the soil under the footing, down a foundation wall, up from a high water table or in from the yard after heavy rain. Each route needs its own answer, which is why a single product rarely solves the problem.
We waterproof crawl spaces across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We find the water paths, then combine interior drainage, wall membrane, a sump system and exterior fixes so water is collected and removed instead of left to sit.
What you get
A drain along the footing collects water and carries it to a sump.
A drainage membrane on the foundation wall guides seepage down to the drain.
A pump in a sealed basin sends water out and away from the house.
Gutters, downspouts and grading are checked so less water arrives in the first place.
The process
We look at stains, soil, walls and the yard to understand where water enters.
Drain, membrane and sump are placed and connected, with a discharge line routed clear of the house.
We run water through the system, check the pump and show you how it works.
FAQ
No. Waterproofing deals with liquid water, while encapsulation seals and conditions the space. Many crawl spaces need both, and we do the water side first.
If water collects in the space, a sump gives it somewhere to go. Where water only comes from a roof or yard problem, fixing that may be enough.
Sometimes, with grading, gutters and exterior drains, but many crawl spaces also need drainage inside. We recommend only what your space needs.
