Crawl Space Drainage Systems

Water in a crawl space does not leave on its own. It soaks into the soil, wets the wood and evaporates into the air you breathe. A drainage system gives it a path: it collects water low in the space and moves it out before it can cause damage.

We design and install crawl space drainage across Nashville and Middle Tennessee, from simple low-point drains to full perimeter systems. Discharge lines are routed clear of the foundation, with cleanouts and covers that make the system easy to check.

What you get

Done right, from the first walk-through

01

Perimeter or low-point drains

Perforated pipe in gravel, laid where water collects in your crawl space.

02

Sump pit and pump

A sealed basin and pump to lift water to the discharge line.

03

Discharge line routed away

Water is carried well away from the foundation and outlet is kept clear.

04

Cleanouts and covers

Access points make inspection and maintenance simple.

The process

How your service comes together

  1. 1

    Map the water

We find the low points and the direction water moves in the space and around the house.

  2. 2

    Lay the drain

Trenches are cut, pipe and gravel are placed, and the system is tied to the sump and discharge.

  3. 3

    Test the flow

Water is run through the system to check slope, flow and the pump before we close up.

FAQ

Common questions about drainage systems

How deep do drains go?

Only as deep as the water needs. We set depth and slope based on your space and the sump location, without cutting more than necessary.

Where does the water go?

To the sump and then out through a discharge line routed away from the home, to a safe outlet such as a yard slope or storm drain, where allowed.

Do drains need maintenance?

A check now and then keeps them working. We show you the cleanouts and the pump so you can look at them yourself.
